Monday at Racine’s mission is to increase a sense of control to anyone going through cancer with wellness, beauty and therapeutic services. These services are designed to improve overall well-being and successfully help minimize the side effects of cancer and cancer treatments. In 2003, Racine Salon became the founding Charter Salon, and Rachel Demolfetto, owner of Racine Salon is the co-founder of the foundation.
Mondays at Racine salons and programs serve women and men with any kind of cancer and all of our services are 100% free of charge. Our programs have helped over 10,000 people to date. HBO Documentary



The Documentary: In late 2010, two sisters, Cynthia Sansone and Rachel DeMolfetto, were approached by HBO about making a documentary. After two years of filming, “Mondays at Racine,” the short documentary was ready to be shared with the world. Nominated for an Academy Award in 2013, “Mondays at Racine,” received many accolades and praise while touring the International Film Festivals; giving people everywhere a look inside the doors of Racine Salon, on a Monday, when these amazing women could be found helping those battling the devastating effects of cancer to face the challenge of healing…beautifully.
Cancer Care Program
Monday's at Racine Salons service men and women who are currently in chemotherapy, radiation and treatment for cancer.
